Lyneham Primary School Outdoor Forest Learning Area

Our aspiration is to further develop our school grounds to create a specific Forest School ‘base camp’ area. This would help us to promote healthy development in a stimulating learning environment. It will also enhance opportunities for free play that inspire creativity. It will help foster social skills and peer-group relations. It will promote appropriate levels of risk-taking like climbing trees, fire lighting and using tools.
